I was born in Leningrad, USSR. I lived there for the next 24 years of my life. I lived through USSR turning into Russian Federation. I saw the mentality of the whole nation change and I did everything I could to keep myself together in those difficult times. In 2002, I left my home in Saint Petersburg, Russia and moved to the US. I lived through a cultural shock and I still get accustomed to Californian way of living. I know for sure that even our everyday life if full of wonders and it seems to reveal itself in front of my eyes a bit at a time and this is what I write about.
